Community Meals: suspended until further notice
We miss our Community Meals as much as you do and look forward to their return as soon as it is safe to do so.
Prairie Kitchen meals are free meals offered on most 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month in our community room. The meal usually includes soup and salad, pasta or rice, a chicken, pork or beef dish, a vegetation/vegan selection, bread, a dessert and drink. The purpose of the meal is to create a more cohesive and resilient community, and to build support for BPNN's mission to end hunger and poverty on a local level. We chose Saturdays for the meal to fill the gap when school lunches and senior programs are not available. EVERYONE is welcome and no reservation is required - just show up. Bring your own container if you'd like to take any leftovers home (starts at 12:30 depending on availability). We always need help - so if you'd like to join our team, please register on our volunteers page.
