YOUR LEGACY. BPNN’S FUTURE.

A planned gift is a forward-looking commitment that sustains the Badger Prairie Needs Network well into the future. Your legacy gift helps ensure families and neighbors have timely access to nutritious food during times of hardship—supporting stability, dignity, and opportunity for generations to come.

Planned Giving

There are many meaningful ways to create a legacy with BPNN. Planned gifts are often simple to arrange and may offer personal, financial, or tax benefits. We encourage you to consult your legal or financial advisor when planning your gift.

Giving options include:

  • Bequests in a will or trust
Include BPNN in your estate plans to support our mission beyond your lifetime.

  • Beneficiary designations
Name BPNN as a beneficiary of a retirement plan, revocable trust, commercial annuity, charitable remainder trust, or charitable lead trust.

  • Gifts of appreciated securities
Donate appreciated stocks or other marketable securities to increase your impact while potentially reducing capital gains taxes.

  • Life insurance gifts
Name BPNN as a beneficiary or transfer ownership of a life insurance policy.

  • Marketable cryptocurrency
Donate marketable cryptocurrency transferred electronically to a brokerage account.

  • Personal property and real estate
Gift a personal residence, land, or other readily marketable real estate, subject to prior Board review and approval.

Statement of Intent

If you have already named BPNN in your planned giving—or are considering doing so—you may choose to complete a Statement of Intent to help us understand and honor your wishes.

If you aren’t sure where to start, we recommend you talk to your legal and financial advisor for guidance.
