About the Kasieta Center
The Kasieta Center (pronounced “ka-shet-a”) is a 4,800 square foot event space built as a gathering place for career training opportunities, community gatherings and fundraising events. It was funded with public and private money, including a $2 million grant from Dane County.
Partnering with workforce development partners and other groups engaged in fighting poverty, the Kasieta Center provides a location for educational classes and job fairs. When not in use for these purposes, the space may be available for occasional use to business, non-profit and private groups for meetings and events.
The Kasieta Center is also home to our popular Community Meal which serves 200 meals on the first and third Saturday of each month.
The center’s name was selected by BPNN’s board of directors in recognition of Robert (Bob) and Marcia Kasietas’ extensive contribution to growing and strengthening the organization.
